With up to $15,000 available through government grants, building a brand new home has rarely been more financially attractive.
First homebuyers who choose to build a new home benefit more than anyone. In 2012, the $7,000 First Home Owner Grant was replaced by the $15,000
First Home Owner Grant (New Homes) Scheme.
This means first homebuyers effectively get $15,000 for simply visiting a McDonald Jones display village, falling in love with one of our designs and deciding to build their dream new home. The First Home Owner grant will reduce to $10,000 on 1 January 2016 for eligible transactions which have a commencement date (contract date) on or after 1 January 2016. So take advantage of this great opportunity and talk to a Building and Design Consultant about finding the perfect home for you.
