Cassie Carswell - We love our McDonald Jones home
With two kids growing quickly Cassie and Ian Carswell had outgrown their first home, which they loved. They were keen to build again with that builder. But during a rainy day at a display village fate introduced them to a new world of home design.
Cassie and Ian had made the two-hour trip from Coffs Harbour to a Port Macquarie display village to see what their current builder offered. They liked the homes they saw, but with time on their side, decided to walk through some other homes.
As soon as they stepped inside the McDonald Jones Display Home, Cassie fell in love with the space, quality and design features of the home. “We loved it. You couldn’t tell where the home ends and the yard starts. It’s that perfect mix of living. We knew the kids would love it and we’ve just had our first BBQ with friends over enjoying the space.”
The Carswells didn’t want to be hands on; they wanted true professionals to do the work. “All the contractors were wonderful and very considerate. There were no surprises and any minor problems were
quickly resolved.”
“McDonald Jones gave us fantastic service every step of the way. We were nervous to start and they were more than accommodating and gave us lots of reassurance. That wasn’t just sales talk either, they actually finished 6 weeks ahead of our contract, and you can only be happy with that”.
When asked if the kids and Ian had the same love of the home, Cassie replied, “The kids love their activity room and so do their friends. It gives them independence and Ian’s taken control of the media room and his remote control.” She ads with a laugh, “It’s his man cave. But he’s smart. He knows a happy wife is a happy life!”
