What is CLASSIC Style?

Classic styling brings to life elegance, symmetry, and balance. This style includes a beautiful neutral palette that honours traditional architecture but always maintains a warm, welcoming, and homely environment.

CLASSIC Substyles

The four substyles of Classic are: Country, Plantation, Hamptons, Vintage.

Country Style

Country style is dedicated to relaxation and complete comfort with a calmness that feels at home away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Country home design involves either a muted palette or a nod to traditional colour schemes like black or navy and white. Classic cabinetry and use of timber throughout flooring and panelling are essential, beautifully accented by vintage accessories throughout the home.

Get the look with things like:

  1. Patterned wallpaper.
  2. Dried native flora and fauna.
  3. Light timber tones and panelling.

Hamptons Style

Hampton style is defined by classic and sophisticated design that meets casually beautiful beach house styling. Chic blues, off-whites, panelled walls and timber flooring are some of the ways you can recreate your house into a resort-like home.

Get the look with things like:

  1. Large windows and sliding doors that open to the alfresco area.
  2. Low-hanging lighting and chandeliers.
  3. Bright white furniture and finishes.
  4. External cladding

Vintage Style

Vintage interior design is old-fashioned and elegant. It involves the use of old or artificially aged furniture and decor. Generally, vintage encompasses an age of older than 30 and younger than 60 years and features natural materials; wood, stone and forged elements plus natural fabrics.

Plantation Style

Plantation interiors contain a combination of Spanish and Colonial architectural elements made popular in the antebellum South. Common features include high ceilings, French doors and detailed skirting and architraves. The entrances of plantation homes are grand, and these homes are designed to create a sense of space and light.
